    hey guys,

Everything works fine on Chrome but the FAQs are opening in a new page on both Safari and Firefox.

Not sure what’s causing it. Can you shed some light?

    Thank you!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi wpbuffs,

Could you try adding the FAQ shortcode (“[ultimate-faqs]”) to a test page without using any page builders or visual composers and see if that makes a difference?

It could also result from a conflict with another plugin or theme, so we also suggest you switch to a default WordPress theme such as “Twenty Sixteen” or “Twenty Seventeen” and disable all the plugins except ours and see if it works now? To find the conflicting plugin you could then enable the plugins one by one until you hit the issue.

    Hi,

We’ve got the same issue here, toggles don’t work and open a new page, in all browsers. Toggles work on category titles, but not on FAQs items.

We use fresh template with plugins that we cannot rid of because it rules our page design. We tried a fresh page without using the composer but it’s still the same issue.

Could you please help us fix this ?

I found this in themeforest discussion:

The AJAX is used for all the links except the ones that have those strings inside:
    [‘.pdf’,’.doc’,’.eps’,’.png’,’.zip’,’admin’,’wp-‘,’wp-admin’,’feed’,’#’, ‘?lang=’, ‘&lang=’, ‘&add-to-cart=’, ‘?add-to-cart=’, ‘?remove_item’, ‘download_file=’]

So – if you include for example, ”#” symbol at the end of the link, it will work without AJAX (eg. https://yoursite.com/page#)

I hope this trick will help you achieve the desired effect.

It worked for me when Ajax animations enabled.

    In my case: https://marcossamerson.com/faq#/
