We have tested the relevant page on our end by using the Google Structured Data Testing Tool and can see that it’s being selected as an Article / NewsArticle
and as well as a FAQPage
within the schema.
We understand you want the FAQPage
to be outputted as a separate block as the 3rd party plugins do. We are afraid to say that the Yoast SEO plugin doesn’t output the schema markups as all the other 3rd party plugins do. Instead, it outputs all the schema markup as a graph so that we could reference one property to another easily without duplicating anything. It helps us to manage the schema markup better within our codebase.
That said, we can confirm that Yoast SEO is outputting the @type: FAQPage
on the relevant page as well. So, it is considered to be a FAQPage to Google.
We hope that clarifies your query better now!
