FAQ doesn’t expand, it just link to FAQ page

  • Hi Jensen,

    Do you have “FAQ Toggle” (in the “Basic” area of the “Settings” tab) set to “Yes”? It needs to be set to “Yes” for the toggle functionality to work?

    If you do and it still isn’t working, then can you try temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme, and seeing if it works then? I noticed that your theme has a weird page loading effect when you click on a link and I’m wondering if there could perhaps be some conflicting JavaScript from that.

    Yes, it’s set to YES. I am not happy to switch theme, I’m afraid that it will mess something up. Which JavaScript conflicts can there be?

    Hi Jensen,

    There’s a page change animation that happens whenever a link is clicked that would be a potential source of conflict. It basically looks like it stops the normal actions that happen when a link is clicked so that the page can fade out, and then calls the link. Our toggle action would usually stop the default link action for FAQs and open the question instead on the main page.

    I’m having a similar issue. I don’t have the option of changing my entire theme to fix this solution, is there another workaround?
