FAQ Category Password Protection?

  • Does anyone know if it is possible to enable end-user password protection of FAQ Categories?

    I see the option to password protect individual FAQ articles, however, that option does not exist for my Categories. I would like to protect entire categories. Does anyone know if this is possible?

    Hi belly,

    I’m not entirely sure what you are asking or how you are already password protecting individual FAQs. We have no option to password protect FAQs. Our FAQs are a custom post type, so it would behave just like regular posts in WordPress. So, if you have found some kind of tool that lets you password protect categories for regular posts, then maybe it would work for FAQ categories (which are a taxonomy) as well. However, this isn’t something we’ve ever tried or tested, so we wouldn’t be able to offer advice on how you might go about doing it.
