FAQ Admin Menu missing in WP 4.7.3

    Greetings John,

    As do many others, I love this plugin very much….we recently updated our site to WP 4.7.3 (from a 4.4 version) and while the FAQs do still display fine, the admin menu item is missing completely, so we cannot add or edit any of them.

    I tried using the Dashboard “at a glance” as a work-around (figuring if I could get to one I might be able to add a new one or maybe see the FAQ post overview page) but I get the WP error message that says I’m “not allow to edit posts of this type”, even though I’m the admin user.

    I don’t mind hacking the plugin until your new version comes out, but could use some direction – what can I modify as a short-term fix?

    Hmmm…..I have figured out how to get the menu back.

    In my theme’s functions.php I added a snippet of code to remove the ability for any user who is NOT a contributor level or above to access the FAQs….but it stopped working, when I removed that code then the menu item appeared again, so apparently I just need to re-work my code a bit.
