Fantastico: missing /wp-admin/

I looked through and didn’t find any solution to this in the forums ??

I used fantastico on my hostgator account to setup a wordpress blog in the root. Installation seemed succesful (well at least I got through without any errors). However when I go to mydomain.com/wp-admin my browser says “site not found” “link is damaged”. When I go do mydomain.com theres nothing there. I tried reinstalling twice with no improvements. Any ideas?
