fantastico and 5 minute install

  • Just to clarify, if we have fantastico, then we don’t need the 5 minute install to install WP, right?

    You’ll have to excuse me for asking this question, but it’s been one of those long days and my head is spinning right now .

  • Nope click on Install… I just did it.. lol

    Upgrading is easy too… just deactivate all your plugins and go back to your default theme, UPGRADE through Fantastico, then when you are done reactivate all plugins and switch your theme back. Took me 3 minutes to upgrade from 1.5.2 to 2.0

    yeah, i just noticed that my cpanel and my hosting company, A Small Orange,just upgraded to WP2.0 now. So now, even future sites that I host on WP, I won’t have to go through the tedious process of manually installing and uploading the files because my hosting was on 1.5
