fantastico and 1.5 (well….nightly builds)

    is there the possibility to install 1.5 (whatever nightly build) with fantastico?

    or do i have to install 1.2.2 first and have to do a upgrade?

  • From what I understand about Fantastico, it is host-dependent and I’d imagine they will stick with official releases.

    You would therefore have to install 1.2.2 and then upgrade. Please do read up on all issues surrounding the use of nightlies first though.

    I would recommend that WP newbies steer clear of beta versions until it has stabilized more and until they have a modicum of experience with 1.2.2.

    thank’s very much for the information…well it seems it will be a ‘trial-and-error’ process…

    anyway, i’ll keep you updated ??

    i’ve allready some setup experience with MT and nucleus, so im quite familiar with the topic.
