Fantastic but slow on initial load

Thank you for developing such a smart plugin!
This plugin is amazing, however is very slow on first load, although PDFs are small.
Unusable on mobile devices.
Is there any reason why initial load is very slow?
Our site is optimized, content is minified, cached through Siteground servers and proprietary caching WP plugin.

Looking at the Waterfall here (https://gtmetrix.com/reports/www.acornhouse.school/sth8hdMN) the code is being loaded six times. See here: https://prnt.sc/qye4cb

Must be because there are 6 documents on the page…
