Avoid Ongoing Fees

  • It’s been a good 6 years since I last really looked into ecommerce systems, and I gotta tell you the free ecommerce landscape is looking great! Woocommerce and a couple of paid extras equaling <$100 plus a good couple of weeks of elbow grease, and I have a store that functions beautifully.

    Really what I needed was an alternative to Shopify that wasn’t going to cost me an ongoing fee. And Woocommerce really delivers in this respect. It’s not for those that are amateurs in the web design world, though. You really need to have your head well screwed on to understand how everything fits together.

    All in all, this plugin is robust and you can find a LOT of add-ons for it – something that’s really handy for getting your online shop working the way you need.

    By the way, I have looked at several AliExpress dropship plugins, and I recommend Ali2Woo which costs a one-off fee, rather than the ones that cost ongoing fees (I HATE ongoing fees!!)
