Fancybox wrapCSS attribute

    Hello, love your plugin. Makes adding fancybox to wordpress super easy. I have one question though.

    I have two type of links I want to open in fancybox and I’d like to style the fancybox differently for each type of link. I’m certain I can accomplish this by adding the wrapCSS attribute so that each type has its own class added to the fancybox-wrap div. Is it possible for me to add that to your code for both types of links? Thanks

  • Hi pleek, I do not see any possibility to make FancyBox use different wrapper div classes for different types of links. Not without customizing fancybox.js at least.

    What are these two ‘types’ exactly and would you like to see differently between them? If it’s a question of border, close button, title format or such, then it can be done with either setting different parameters on Settings > Media for these different types. Or you can use the Metadata jQuery extension…

    I’m referring to the fancybox attribute “wrapCSS” listed on the fancybox doc’s page https://fancyapps.com/fancybox/#docs

    I really just need to customize the fancybox to be a different size for one link than the default width.

    WrapCSS, that’s fancyBox2…

    If you need just one link to open a different size lightbox, then go to Settings > Media and check the box “Include the Metadata jQuery extension…” Then go and change the class of the link in question like for example from class="fancybox-iframe" to class="fancybox-iframe {width:400,height:500}"

    Hope that gives you an idea of how this can be done ??
