FancyBox use with toolset custom image field

Help me solve this and I will buy you a case of beer.
I am using toolset to create a custom post type with a custom image field. I’m outputting the images to a page as a simple image gallery, and am using ajax pagination. The name of this custom image field is gallery-photo. There are many lightbox plugins that have a group attribute for example in the rel statement, such as rel=”ilightbox[group name], or in this instance ilightbox[gallery-photo], but this only groups the images in the one page, not all the images, and most of these plugins such as ilightbox break when you move to the second page using ajax pagination.
The only lightbox I have found that will actually group all the images of this type is thickbox, which uses a class. I need to group all of the images of this type and have them display in a lightbox that can scroll through them.
I think your plugin may be able to do this but have not much idea how to impliment it. I think this can be done with your Use a custom expression to apply FancyBox setting. Any ideas?
FYI, including a slideshow in FancyBox would be cool.
