I tried adding all the custom CSS I found in the forum and I still can’t get the white border around the images to be thinner when you click the picture. The border around the popup image. Is there any custom CSS I can add to make it thinner?

@yes931 – We bundle the Lightbox libraries with NextGEN Gallery as a convenience. We recommend reviewing the particular library’s documentation and its author’s support for cases where modifications to its appearance are wanted. In this case with Fancybox, it appears you will need to either modify the scripts itself (which we do not recommend) and/or add an appropriate script to adjust the padding being used based on the search results I just pulled up.

    Thanks!

Thanks Cais, It looks like Nextgen use the old version of fancybox 1.3.4 from 2011 when there is a new version out Fancybox2 that allows you to remove the frame in the settings. See bottom example where it says ‘Image Gallery’ https://fancybox.net/

Is there any chance that you will upgrade your bundled fancy box to the newest version, or can I install the new version and override Nextgen’s fancybox and still use Nextgen?

    Thanks, – Frank

Sorry, it’s at the very bottom where it says “Examples of manual call” then Image Gallery.

@yes931 – We do provide for a “Custom” Lightbox Effect under Gallery > Other Options > Lightbox Effects (basically fill in the blanks with the appropriate details noted for the Lightbox you want to add).

We do not currently have plans to update the version of Fancybox bundled with NextGEN Gallery although it may happen in a future release unfortunately it is not at a priority currently.

    Thanks!

    – Cais.
