Fancybox 2 integration

I’m trying the fancybox 2 (https://lokeshdhakar.com/projects/lightbox2/) integration as explain in the plugin readme.txt
It works not to bad (sometimes not working or very long delay on some devices).
Nevermind, i would like to know if it is possible to activate the thumbnail helper provided as extension to fancybox 2 (see https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7501/15812584301_1d63602c58_m.jpg for exemples)for the pictures in a ‘folder gallery’.
