    Hi support,

    I have a feeling this is more of a Mailchimp issue than your plugin but I need to rule it out as a possible cause.

    I’m getting a lot of the following error messages in the debug log despite the user’s email address not being in the target audience:

    ‘[2024-01-02 20:19:00]?WARNING:?Form 503740 > ***************** is already subscribed to the selected list(s)’

    Is there anything within the plugin that could be causing this? Or is it doing its job perfectly by making the API call and displaying the response from Mailchimp to the user?

    Maybe the email is not confirmed, but is on the list (just never clicked the opt-in link?)
    If you can provide me with a Mailchimp API key I can query the API directly to confirm this for you.

    For the other issue, please go to MC4WP > Mailchimp (in your WordPress admin) and click on “Renew Mailchimp lists”. Then once the latest data is pulled in fold open the audience/list name on that page and check if all the expected values are now available for that field. If so, test the form again and let me know if it still doesn’t work.

    Thanks @lapzor, I’ve been chatting to Arne on email and have got to the bottom of this. The plugin is working fine, I had been cross-checking the error logs against Mailchimp’s Audience search feature on their website and it wasn’t returning any results. Turns out that search function doesn’t include email addresses which was my search criteria. Cross-checked against an audience export and found every single error was genuine and the audience members were already subscribed. Odd behaviour for so many existing subscribers to be trying to subscribe again which I’ll investigate but technically everything is working as it should. Appreciate yours and especially Arne’s assistance.
