false positive for brid.gy webmentions

    the plugin blocks webmentions coming from brid.gy. Those are definitely not spams, therefore they are false positives.

    Probably it is because brid.gy works like trackbacks and Anti-spam plugin blocks trackbacks completely.
    Only pingbacks are alowwed.
    You may try to enable trackbacks.

    Trying to install the IndieWeb Plugins and getting Bridgy to work today, I ran into the same issue.

    Enabling Trackbacks by editing the anti-spam.php wouldn’t help – all the webmentions were still being rejected because they were falsely accused as spam. I had to deactivate Anti-spam in order to have the webmentions being sent to my moderation queue, and am now relying on Antispam Bee – which is kind of unfortunate. For the last year or so, your plugin blocked 100% of the spam for me, and I didn’t have to bother with a moderation queue.

    So please, if it’s at all possible, could you somehow make brid.gy work with Anti-spam? Maybe some kind of whitelist would do the trick. Thanks a lot for your work and the awesome plugin.
