The REST API is one way WordPress, and other applications, communicate with the server. One example is the block editor screen, which relies on this to display, and save, your posts and pages.

The REST API call gave the following unexpected result: (403)

I’ve tracked it down as being generated by WP Cerber security plug-in. Tracing back Cerber’s RID in the activity log, it seems this is generated every time someone tries to hack the site – spam forms, malicious attempts etc. It’s great that WP Cerber is working, but is there a way to stop “Health check” showing these as apparent website issues? It makes it impossible to distinguish “real” site problems from this false positive!

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]
