    Hello,

the message that the snippets already exist and I cannot redeclare them appears if I update and click on “Save Changes”. The solution is

    1) Deactivate the snippet
    2) Make Changes
    3) Activate Again. This is the only way to update. After I lost 2 hours trying to figure out what is wrong, I finally installed the plugin in a clean wordpress installation and the problem still exists. Propably this happens till last update. Could you please check this out?

    Thank you!

  • I’m seeing this problem as well.

Here’s the full error message (with website path obscured):

    Don’t Panic

The code snippet you are trying to save produced a fatal error on line 22:

    Cannot redeclare qs_purchase_forms() (previously declared in /XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX/wp-content/plugins/code-snippets/php/snippet-ops.php(384) : eval()’d code:3)
The previous version of the snippet is unchanged, and the rest of this site should be functioning normally as before.

Please use the back button in your browser to return to the previous page and try to fix the code error. If you prefer, you can close this page and discard the changes you just made. No changes will be made to this site.

I have been using Save Changes and Deactivate followed by Save Changes and Activate as a workaround.

I just downgraded to a previous version of the plugin and there is no problem, so sth is wrong with the update. Please fix this.

    Thank you

Sorry about this. I’ve released version 1.8.2, which fixes should fix this issue.

    Hi,

thanks, but from where I can get this version? (I guess 2.8.2). I don’t see from where I can install it…

Looks like there was an error uploading the new version. Should be fixed now.

And yes, I did mean 2.8.2.

Confirmed fixed here with upgrade to version 2.8.2. Thank you for addressing the issue!
