False alert re permalink structure changes.

    Why am I seeing this? I haven’t changed my permalink structure.

    “Because of a change in your permalink structure, some of your SEO data needs to be reprocessed.”

  • Hi,

    Typically, we would expect that notification to get tossed out if you went to Settings-Permalinks and made a change there. However, there might be some cases where something about the site changed which triggered Yoast to toss that out.

    We would like some more information.

    1 .Did you happen to install any new plugins on your site?

    2. Do you have any plugins which impact the permalinks on your site?

    3. Do you have any plugins which might create custom post types?

    Note that to resolve the notification, you will need to go to SEO-Tools and re-run the SEO Data button.
