Hi, I have installed litespeed cache plugin, but I have disabled all the cache part, and I have only enabled image optimization with image replacement in webp.
In your plugin (wonderful and very useful) I also enabled the FALLBACK PAGE CACHING function, but with it the images are no longer displayed in webp, but always in jpg.
    Thank you

    Hi,
The fallback cache of the plugin saves the HTML (as CF will save it on it’s server) in the disk and in event of cache being expired or miss instead of regenerating the Page HTML, the already generated HTML is servered which is much faster and takes much less resource.

Now your image optimization system, can work in many different way but if it is relying on PHP to change the image URLs on the fly then it won’t work as when pages are being served from CF cache or fallback cache those PHP executions does not happen.

If you are looking for a good image optimization system there are many to choose from like shortpixel, imagekit.io, optimole and not to mention the Cloudflare Pro plan where for 20$/mo you get unlimited image optimization on unlimited traffic. But if you are looking for a free way you can check the imagekit.io or optimole both of which has a good free plan.

sorry but I certainly did not express myself well. I used the litespeed cache plugin to turn images into webp. It has always worked well. Using your plugin the images, as I wrote to you, were always displayed in jpg. Now I have removed the litespeed cache plugin, and I am using optimole as the image processor, and all images are show as webp. Thank you so much!
