    Hi Guys,

An editor on a site is seeing 403 errors when trying to update a page with elementor.

The log entry is as follows :

    15/Feb/21 11:00:29 #2873354 CRITICAL 252 84.9.149.3 POST /wp-admin/admin-ajax.php – SQL injection – [POST:actions = {“save_builder”:{“action”:”save_builder”,”data”:{“status”:”publish”,”elements”:[{“id”:”26dff91″,”elType”:”section”,”isInner”:false,”settings”:{},”elements”:[{“id”:”3913989″,”elType”:”co…] – safetycoachacademy.co.uk

Could you take a look at the rules with regards to this please?

    Thanks in advance!

You would need to disable rule 252 with the rules editor: Security Rules > Rules Editor.

Are there any major security implications in doing this?

No, there aren’t: This rule detect obfuscation tricks (e.g., /* some text */), but it’s not a big issue to disable it. It is not a rule that deals with a specific vulnerability, it’s one of the many generic rules used by the firewall.
