I noticed that none of the IPs listed in my Live Traffic list have locations attached to them.

The error message I have is this:

Call to Wordfence API to resolve IPs failed: There was an error connecting to the the Wordfence scanning servers: Failed to connect to noc1.wordfence.com port 443: Connection timed out

What does this mean and how do I fix it?

  • Hi,

This could be a few things. Your hosting provider may be blocking the connection to our server or there could be a conflict in a theme or plugin you have installed. Try using the connectivity test in Wordfence options. It will let you know if your site can connect to our servers. If you’re not able to connect, you’ll want to check with your hosting company. Also, try the option to start scans remotely and see if that helps.
