    Hi @ravenadv,

Can you please check and let us know if your WordPress admin domain (wp-admin) is the same as your site’s domain (ravenadventure.co.uk)? This will help us investigate the issue further.

    Thank you!

    Hi @ravenadv,

Thanks your for the reply. I looked at the site again and noticed that WP Optimize plugin is active. Can you please try temporarily deactivate it and see if the issue persists?

    Hi @ravenadv,

I took a closer look into this for you and let me explain how Boost works and what I’ve found.

Jetpack Boost works by creating a hidden iframe within your WP-Admin to generate Critical CSS, ensuring your site’s most important visual content loads quickly. During this process, it seems there’s been a “CrossDomainError.” This error typically occurs when the tool tries to access or render your site’s pages within the iframe but is blocked due to browser security rules that prevent content from being loaded across different web domains or protocols.

After reviewing the headers sent from your site, it appears that the X-Frame-Options: DENY header is set, which stops the page from being rendered in an iframe, necessary for generating Critical CSS. Even though you’ve disabled WP Optimize, which may have initially set this header, the configuration causing this error seems to persist.

To address the CrossDomainError and allow Jetpack Boost to function correctly, you’ll need to remove or adjust the X-Frame-Options: DENY header. This adjustment will enable the iframe created by Jetpack Boost to successfully render your site’s pages and generate the Critical CSS.

Since WP Optimize might have influenced this setting, it’s also a good idea to check any remaining plugin settings or residual .htaccess rules that might be contributing to the issue. If you’re not familiar with making these changes, or if you’re not seeing where WP Optimize may have added these headers, reaching out to your hosting provider or a web development professional could be the next best step.

I hope this helps, but if you have further questions, please let me know.
