I’m encountering an issue that fails to generate packing slips or invoices, displaying a blank screen accompanied by the message “There has been a critical error on this website.” Upon investigation, I’ve observed that the plugin functions properly for small orders (1 or 2 items), but when processing orders with multiple items, it triggers the aforementioned error.

Upon enabling debug mode, I’ve identified the following error message: “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 268435456 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 32768 bytes) in /var/www/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-pdf-invoices-packing-slips/vendor/dompdf/dompdf/lib/Cpdf.php on line 5628.”

Despite increasing the memory limit to 256MB, the issue persists. My business involves selling custom items, where customers attach their artwork for printing. The invoice typically displays the uploaded artwork alongside each product. It appears that when customers order multiple items, each with its associated artwork, the plugin fails to generate the PDF.

Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

    Hey @itoasty

How large is the file size of these artwork images?
You are saying the error persists, so I’m thinking processing those images must take a lot of memory.

Could you clarify whether the error message is the same or not?
If you increased the memory but if the error message is the exact same, then there was a problem with the way the memory was increased, right?
