    Hi there,

I’m using WPforms and have run the nu htlm checker and had this error:

Error: The for attribute of the label element must refer to a non-hidden form control.

From line 19, column 8064; to line 19, column 8143

    ld-id=”6″><label class=”wpforms-field-label wpforms-label-hide” for=”wpforms-136-field_6″>Confir

I’m a total noob when it comes to CSS and I’m not sure where specifically I need to go to change the code, whether it’s a sub folder within the FTP or the editor, either way I can’t seem to find the referenced code and I’m not sure what specifically I need to change the code to, to make it compliant.

    Can anyone EILI5?

    Thanks

    Hey soyd,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I see you’ve found another form solution, but I just wanted to follow up on this regardless.

The validation error you were seeing was because the validator did not like that the label was hidden. However, WPForms does not remove hidden labels – rather hides them instead – in order to support screen readers that are used by visually impaired visitors to your site.

    Hope that makes sense ??
