For what I understand from the job configuration screens, one can send the results of backup gzipped as usual in the later version of BackWPup. But now, if I want to add the plugin list, the XML file and the DB dump in one gzip file, the log shows the following and the sent file contains only the DB dump:

    1. Trying to create backup archive …
WARNING: This archive method can only add one file
WARNING: This archive method can only add one file

Hi, I solved the issue temporarily using ZIP only. With the downfall of getting much bigger files emailed to me than when using TAR-GZIPPED files ??
Hope to see an update solving this soon.

I am glad everyone is getting better results.

I think I am going to do a complete deletion with a fresh instal and see if that helps as I am still screwed.

Yep, when everything fails, uninstall the plugin and start over ??
