Hiya just downloaded and am trying to backup my site to dropbox with UpDraftPlus but it keeps failing for both unreadable files and general fails?

So far I have tried changing the option to split archives down to 30MB, excluding ‘Any other directories found inside wp-content’ and excluding PHP files.

Here is a folder with a screenshot of my settings and log.

Just to update this the backup completed ‘with warnings’ Does anyone know what that means? I updated the log file to show this!

    Hi,

0049.284 (0) [Warning] uploads/wpforms/.htaccess.cpmh3129: unreadable file – could not be backed up

The warning is coming from a file from wpforms which could not be backed up. In most cases, .htaccess files are not necessary to backup as this will be regenerated once you migrate/restore the website.

To remove the warning message, you can exclude the file from the backup or just simply ignore it.

    How to exclude – https://updraftplus.com/faqs/how-can-i-exclude-particular-filesdirectories-from-the-backup/

    Thanks,
    Bryle
