    Keep getting this failed update message

    Update Failed: Could not copy file. wordpress-seo/languages/wordpress-seojs-fr_BE.json

    Can someone tell me how to fix it?

    Thank you for reaching out. We apologize for having issues when trying to update.

    The error you get “could not copy file” can have multiple causes. First, please verify whether there is enough available storage space on your hosting account.

    If there is enough space, we would encourage you to do the following:

    1. Deactivate Yoast SEO and delete the plugin.
    2. Go to Plugins and click the ‘Add New’ button on top of the page, search for Yoast SEO and install the latest plugin again.

    You won’t lose any previously entered data or settings as those are stored in your database. However, we always recommend to have backups in case anything goes wrong.
