Failed to the execute the cron event

Hi
We have a plugin which auto import video embeds from other websites.
I see its cron hook inside the crontrol panel, when I click “Run”
Sometimes shows:

Failed to the execute the cron event

Sometimes shows nothing

But as a whole it doesnt auto import any video.
I tried adding cron to cpanel, disabling/enabling wp cron in wp config
None of it works
please help.
