“Failed to send your message.” error

Hi, the contact form was working perfectly until a day or two ago. It keeps giving us the “Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method” error (orange box). All three of our contact forms stopped working.

I have spent the last two hours digging and trying suggestions from the community, thinking it may be a cache or settings error, but no luck.

Please help.
