Could please share the following:

1. A screenshot of any Browser console errors from where the error appears
2. Does the URLs match in WordPress site settings under Settings > General from the WordPress Dashboard
3. Site Health information privately through this form

@fiberartsy To clarify, we’re more interested in any browser console errors when you see the “failed to save” error. Could you open up your browser developer tools and check for any errors?

Also, does this error occur with all other plugins disabled or using a default theme? To find this out, I recommend you use the Health Check & Troubleshooting plugin and enable its troubleshooting mode. This mode disables active plugins and switches to a default theme safely because it only affects the experience of the logged-in user.

– Please enable the Web Stories plugin and let me know if you can save stories.
– Enabling plugins and your theme one by one in this mode may help pinpoint if something else is involved.
– Note you can disable troubleshooting mode from the plugins page.
