    Hello,

I’m unaware of anything I’ve done but I’m now getting this message when I try to ‘Purge All Cache’:

‘Failed to purge: CloudFront distribution not specified.’

Whilst I’m able to upload the CDN files I now get this message when testing the S3 upload:

Error: Distribution for origin “cdn.kitscottage.uk.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com” not found.

I have other identical setups and whilst one also displayed this behavior it eventually disappeared and the others are ok.

Is there a fix I can apply?

    Thanks, Rob

    Hello @robstead

Thank you for reaching out and I am happy to help!

Have you created the bucket in the CloudFront Distribution setup or via the W3TC create a bucket list?
I can see that the files are uploaded and served from the CDN so it may only be the AWS appears to not honor the alias

    Thanks!

Sorry for my slow response Marko.

I created the CloudFront Distribution via the AWS interface some time ago. It was working.

The CNAME record (d17c57bwg50nsl.cloudfront.net) for cdn.kitscottage.uk appears to still be working.

I get a similar error when testing the CDN connection for another website (www.4greenhills.uk) but it successfully purges. This website was created at the same time as this one.

I’m afraid I’m clueless as to what the issue is and I’ve been looking at it for a number of months now.

    Do you have any thoughts?

    Thanks, Rob

    Hi Marko,

I’m still struggling with this. Do you have a solution?

I get two messages I’ve no idea what they mean:

Content Delivery Network object support via Amazon Cloudfront is currently enabled and not authorized.

Content Delivery Network full-site-delivery support via cloudfront is currently enabled and not authorized.

    Thanks, Rob

Sorry to chase Marko but do you have a fix for this? I have four websites and they’re all impacted in one way or another and I have no idea what to look for. I have tried and they did work without a problem for years. Rob
