    Hi There,
My web site can’t open anymore after I’ve installed Hummingbird. I’ve seen there are also some similar problems in the forum and I’ve tried some solutions but it didn’t work.
    can you help me?

“Warning: require(/home/u7443576/schengenvizesi.com/wp-includes/cron.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/u7443576/schengenvizesi.com/wp-settings.php on line 199

Fatal error: require(): Failed opening required ‘/home/u7443576/schengenvizesi.com/wp-includes/cron.php’ (include_path=’.:/opt/alt/php72/usr/share/pear’) in /home/u7443576/schengenvizesi.com/wp-settings.php on line 199”

P.S. there are many pages I’ve writeen and I dont want to lose them. Is there any way to get the web site is back?

    Hello @renklidergi

    I hope you’re well today!

A good news is that even despite such error, the site itself and its data should remain intact.I don’t believe you have lost any content due to this.

I’m not sure about the error itself, though. It suggests that the “cron.php” file doesn’t existing in the /wp-includes/ folder so I would actually start with checking that. Access your WordPress installation via FTP, go to “/wp-includes/” folder and make sure that the “cron.php” file actually is there.

If it’s missing, you will have to manually update it by downloading a fresh WordPress installation package, extracting the missing file from it and uploading it to the /wp-includes/ folder.

However, that’s just one possibility. Hummingbird doesn’t manipulate files in /wp-includes/ folder and it doesn’t physically alter any files except for – in some cases -wp-config.php (to enable Page Caching) and .htaccess file. It shouldn’t be causing that kind of issues but I’m wondering though – did that happen right after Hummingbird was installed and/or enabled or only after some features were configured in it?

Were there any updates to the site performed at the same time?

    Let us know, please.

    Kind regards,
    Adam

This is the first sentence how I started to write my answer…

    “Dear Adam,
Yes problem has just happened after I started to use Hummingbird. And I’m pretty sure I’ve deleted cache on WP panel, and next day web site was like that.
On the other hand, yes I’ve already checked cron.php file…

Then I decided to double check cron.php file and Oh My god! it’s not there. And I’ve uploded again and now its working ??

thanks for your help =) heheh really You let me try double check and now it works…

    Kind Regards
