    Hi,

Last night (25/6/19) I attempted to move my wordpress site (aerodivers.net) from a sub-folder (wordpress) into the root directory. Something went wrong (I think I overwrote some files while copying directories (.htaccess & index.php perhaps) & now there are a number of issues

    – Typing aerodivers.net in a browser eventually brings up the site as wordpress.aerodivers.net without any formatting. The links all work but simply display within the same page.
    – I cannot access the wordpress dashboard to make any changes to my site (error 500)

I am hosting on one.com & they suggested restoring from their backup service from before the changes which I did (to 24/6 & then 23/6) but although I can see more files I still get the same symptoms

I’m wondering if the backup maybe didn’t backup files that were in use/locked or something?

All the content is still there the site just doesn’t work & it’s probably something really simple but I am at a loss & would really appreciate your help!

    Kind Regards

    Kevin Green
