failed to log in to my wordpress Admin Page

hi, i had failed to login to my wordpress own blog admin page,then when i click forget password and ask weather wordpress to sent us my permanantly password to log in ,the message shown up on my browser “The e-mail could not be sent.
Possible reason: your host may have disabled the mail() function…
So,can u shown us how to fix it.
