And on this page: https://serverblend.com/csgo-server/ Theres multiple 404’s for CSS and JS

Turning autoptimize off, clearing w3tc and the cdn, re-enabling autopimize, clearining w3tc and cdn again appears to fix the issue. Incredibly frustrating though. Surely i cant be the only one to experience this?

just checked those 2 pages, both work for me? looks like you’re seeing a locally cached version (which in that case would refer to old autoptimized js/css).

ah, didn’t see your previous post.

no idea really, you are (as far as I remember, I could be wrong) the only one struggling with that issue I’m afraid.

workaround; don’t empty AO’s cache too often. when upgrading AO will empty cache if needed (was not the case for 2.0 -> 2.1).

I often see broken page after use “Delete cache” button in toolbar. To resolve this i need to go to plugin settings and clear cache from there.

@aleksman; the code doing the actual clearing is the same (it first clears AO’s cache and then tries to remove the page cache’s cache), but it’s not impossible that the process does finish (correctly/ entirely) when called the first time (you might see an error if the toolbar-one does not work). calling it a 2nd time might indeed fix that.

@futttam, i don’t know why it is happens. I’m using nginx and wordfence, may be they are affected to this. But every time i clear the cache from toolbar – it’s broken (i can clear it even 5 times – same way, 404 on autoptimize css file), after clearing from settings – all is good.

do you use wordfence’s falcon engine?

    Yes

    (@futtta)

well, that’s a page cache as well, so you’ll have to clear both nginx & falcon’s cache. otherwise you’re removing autoptimized CSS/JS from AO’s cache, but those two will have pages in cache that still refer to that removed AO CSS/JS.

It means, that clear button in Autoptimize settings clears both cache – falcon’s and autoptimize’s?

    Plugin Author Frank Goossens

    (@futtta)

no, AO does not clear Falcon cache, you will have to do that manually (except if FC “listens” for AO’s autoptimize_action_cachepurged action as some other page caching plugins do, but I have no idea if they do).
