Ive read that this a firewall issue. Not so: my problem occurred long before I installed one.
I disabled ajax cqll cart fragement

I see Elementor blaming the hosting ISPs and ISPs blaming Elementor. I am not interested in blaming I just want a fix.

This is the F12 console errors list I have Elementor Pro. since it is causing problems I am inclined to dump it and claim a refund under AUS retail laws for not performing as promised but I’d rather it work and I get a fix

  • The console errors aren’t as helpful in this situation. When do you get this 403?

    1. When you press update/publish button?

    2. When you activate the license?

    3. When you attempt to view the Template Library templates?

Each situation might point to a different problem, but in general, you’ll want to check the following things:

    1. Are you running a security plugin like WordFence? If so, put it in Learning mode, and then go do the thing (like clicking the Update button) that is generating the 403. This will tell the security plugin that this action is okay, and it can stop blocking the action. You can then take it out of Learning mode.

    2. Contact your host and ask them to check mod_security for any rules that have kicked in that shouldn’t have. This or any other firewall that your host is running may need to be tweaked to allow such actions.

    3. If you receive a 403 error when you try to activate your license that means that your server is blocking the connection with the Elementor server. In this case, you have to contact your hosting company and to allow the connection with my.elementor.com

    @cavalierlife,

first off let me apologise for my tardiness and to thank you for your response. It has no relevance but i have been in what we call in Australia “the bush” on family matters and where coverage is not guaranteed.

In answer to your question the problem occurs when I try the Edit Page with Elementor option. We have 3 “sites”
    pugmensshed.com.au
    pugmensshed.com.au/shop
    pugmensshed.com.au/members

    and a test site pugmensshed.com.au/store
I only experience issues with https://pugmensshed.com.au/shop and the test site.

It seems to me that the common denominator is woocommerce.

I’ll follow up your suggestions with my hosting service but i’ll try another commerce plugin as well just eliminate my theory

    cheers
