Status code of 400 for Google AdSense usually means there is something wrong with the ad code.

Thank you for pointing out. I have been using the generate code option. For publisher ID i was providing ca-pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX instead of pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. So Adsense code got generated as ca-ca-pub-XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX. This was the problem and now corrected. Thank you for the prompt reply and indicating the exact cause for the problem.
