    Hi, I’ve successfully imported my .CSV into WordPress, however there’s only two Products that have failed. The message reads “Failed to import product”. These Products are no different to the other ones that have uploaded.

    I’m not sure why this has happened, has anybody else had this happen to them?

  • I have had this happen a few times. The culprit for me has always been a strange character that Excel generated that … confused … the importer. Examine the data very carefully. Look for any off looking characters. If you do not see any with the naked eye, and you did, indeed, generate your csv with Excel, import the csv into google docs and then have it dump it back out.

    Yes you were right. I imported into Google Docs and exported again and noticed two weird characters. I fixed these and uploaded again and it worked fine. Thanks again.
