Failed to import NOVO theme demo data (Error 500)

    Hi there,

    when trying to import the demo data of the NOVO theme the import fails immediately returning an error 500. The error is shown in the box of the importer.

    My debug.log writes as follows:

    It seems a string is expected but an array is given. There’re two plugins involved in this issue, Envato and the One-Click Demo Import.

    Thanks for reaching out, and I sincerely apologize for the delay in getting back to you.

    We’re happy to look into this for you. In order to investigate this, however, we’ll need a copy of the XML file you are trying to import. You can send us the file here: https://wpmailsmtp.com/contact/.

    If you are unable to upload the file or code, just upload it to a secure file sharing site and include the Download link in your form entry details.

    Additionally, since this issue involves the Novo theme, I suggest you also reach out to them, as it may be an issue they are aware of and possibly could have a resolution to.

    We’ll be reaching out to them on our end as well for further investigation.
