Failed to import media

  • If I try to import the xml file which I exported from a url, to a new url, in a new database, I received the message “Failed to import media…”. All the posts were imported correctly, but no images. I use version 0.6.4 of the plugin, and wordpress 4.9.4–it_IT.
    Other active plugins (they were also installed when I exported the xml file) : Events Manager, Minimal Coming Soon & Maintenance Mode, Slideshow Gallery, SlickNav Mobile Menu.

    I’m experiencing the same issue on a clean install of WordPress. No other plugins active.

    Same problem here on a fresh install, impossible to import media files, and lots of “Failed to import media” messages.

    Same, this is a fatal failure for my personal project management.

    I’m still getting this issue too. Anyone found a resolution?

    Count me in too. Seems like a very common problem.

    In my case I’m trying to export from a live site to a local development version running in a Vagrant box.
