Failed to import directory

I am not entirely sure how to use this plugin. I have successfully added 70 posts manually even if the images didnt show up and I had to add them back manually. I still have over 800 posts to go, and I feel it would take too long doing it this way. I attempted adding the posts by dumping the html files of each section in a folder and uploading that folder via ftp to public_html/html-files-to-import I’ve added all the images in a folder called “uploads” and uploaded that to the same directory.
Directory to import: /home/ragmag5/public_html/html-files-to-import/hayda-lebnen-ya-3ayneh

When I go to importd directory of files and click submit, I get this error message: Fatal error: Call to a member function xpath() on a non-object in /home/ragmag5/public_html/wp-content/plugins/import-html-pages/html-importer.php on line 408
Please help in any way possible.
