• I see this notice when I enter the Loco Translate wp-admin section:
    Debug: Failed to get session token

    I my server’s logs I see:
    [Loco.debug] "Failed to get session token" in src/mvc/AdminRouter.php:122

    Hitting “sync” in “Edit template” returns error:
    Error: Ajax controller returned empty JSON

    and in the console.log:

    Provide the following text when reporting a problem:
    --8<--
     {"error":{"code":0,"type":"error","class":"Loco_error_Exception","title":"Error","message":"Ajax controller returned empty JSON"},"notices":[]}
    ------

    Everything was working fine until a few days ago, I don’t know what could cause that – I haven installed any new WordPress plugins

    Loco Translate calls WordPress’s wp_get_session_token function. If this fails (as in your case) I can’t account for why.

    There’s no evidence that your ajax/sync problem is related to this, but my guess is that it is a separate issue.

    For both problems I can only suggest the usual debugging approach, which is to eliminate your theme and other plugins
