Failed to get it working

I am sorry, I hoped to use this “User Registration” plugin for my WordPress forum (bbpress), but I cannot get it working without errors. To give just one example: The redirect option [user_registration_my_account redirect_url=”home_page_slug”] gives, when I give the name of the startpage a ‘not found’ error’.
I’ve more problems. Describing it all would give a longer list.
So, I’m afraid, I have to remove the plugin.The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

Well, reading that documentation was the first thing I did before asking.
The PHP solution it mentions, is out of the question; I cannot code at all and do not understand it, and I do not work with a child theme.
Also, logoff does not do what I want, although I also tried there the shortcode with redirecting to the startpage. It even does not really log me out.
Only the signoff option at the end of the profile page works to logoff, but that is not the way to handle this.
