Hi Team, I am fairly new to WordPress and Jetpack and when I am using Jetpack Boost to Regenerate Critical CSS, I am getting the following error.

    Failed to generate Critical CSS

Hmm, looks like something went wrong. We’re still seeing an unexpected error. Please reach out to our support to get help.

I have a home page, that is using Theme settings / schema: CollectionPage that will dynamically show the latest posts.

However, the page as such is empty as I did not write anything in the https://thesoclabs.com/home/ page. I don’t know how to change jetpack boost setting to check critical CSS for https://thesoclabs.com/ rather than https://thesoclabs.com/home/.

I don’t know how to resolve this issue so I can boost my mobile and Desktop results.

Appreciate your help please. Thank you.

    Hi there

I’m not clear about the theme setting you mentioned to dynamically show your latest posts.

If you go to Settings > Reading, is your homepage there set to display your latest posts, or your static ‘Home’ page?

If it’s the latter, what are you using to display the blog posts on that page?

If you can describe your setup in a bit more detail, we’ll be able to advise further.

Hi @drawmyface Dan, thanks for asking. In Settings > Reading, My Home Page is Set to Latest Posts.

The issue I am having was. When I click the Jetpack Boost > Regenerate CSS, I get an error, as mentioned in this post description.

Looking forward for your help on resolving this issue.

    Hi @thesoclabs,

To help us further diagnose this problem, could you please temporarily deactivate the LiteSpeed Cache plugin? This action is necessary to determine if the caching mechanism is affecting the generation of Critical CSS by inadvertently caching pages or paths that Jetpack Boost is trying to analyze. Once the plugin is deactivated, try regenerating the Critical CSS in Jetpack Boost again and observe if the issue persists.

Looking forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello @thesoclabs,

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no movement, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

Hi @erania-pinnera @alinclamba apologies for delay. I deactivated the Litespeed cache plugin and I am still seeing the same error.

    Hi there,

Does the error still persist? I am asking since our logs indicate that Critical CSS was generated correctly.

On the other hand, the logs strangely show your /home/ page as core_posts_page and core_front_page

Could you try to delete your home page?

    Thank you!
