I’ve had to contact Just Host recently as WordPress was warning me that I had less than 20mb of disk space and I was unable to upload image files. I’ve had a response from Just host suggesting they had resolved this and I’ve uploaded one new image today, but I have been unable to generate critical CSS following the change “due to an unexpected error”. Probably as a result of this, my website is not displaying correctly on either of my PCs. The warning message in WordPress is:

It looks like this page does not contain any relevant CSS in its external style sheet(s):

    Any suggestions?

This resolved itself later in the day.

After working for 2 days I’m getting the Failed to generate Critical CSS message again after adding captions to about 30 images in an old gallery of photos. As a result, my whole site is not displaying properly.

this is weird, after not displaying properly for over 24 hours, my website is now displaying properly again and I’ve been able to go into the dashboard/boost & generate critical CSS , so I’ll tentatively mark this as resolved again.

I’m glad to hear that the issue with generating critical CSS and the display of your website resolved itself.

I understand the uncertainty that comes with intermittent issues but in the case of Boost’s failure to generate critical CSS, when it does occur, it’s usually due to connection issues between your site and our systems. If it reoccurs, let us know and we’ll take a look.
