Installed the new plugin v1.11 on my WP Engine staging site for testing with reCAPTCHA v2 enabled for the Comments form.

When using Google Chrome only, the following error is displayed below the reCAPTCHA box whenever the Submit Comment button is pressed:

0 NetworkError: Failed to execute 'send' on 'XMLHttpRequest': Failed to load 'https://mysite.staging.wpengine.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php'.

Trying it in IE11 displays only:
    0 NetworkError

then IE11 displays a pop-up dialog “Internet Explorer Security – A website wants to open content using the program on your computer”

It doesn’t matter whether or not the reCAPTCHA is passed when clicking the Submit button, always get the 0 NetworkError message.

Oddly, the reCAPTCHA works fine with FireFox with user-friendly in-line error messages such as “Error: You have entered an incorrect CAPTCHA value.” and I can submit a valid comment.

Access to /wp-admin/ is not restricted, loading the URL in FireFox:
    https://mysite.staging.wpengine.com/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php
displays a simple “0” in the web browser.

I’m using the latest versions of IE 11, Chrome 39 and FireFox 34.

    Thanks

Is there a way to provide the actual URL to you outside of this forum? The “mysite” in the URL is a generic.

    Thanks
