I′m trying Groundhogg in a local site, I use WP SMTP to send emails from woocommerce in my local site an its works fine, but when I make the Test IMAP Connection (Email tab of Groundhoog plugin) I got the error “Failed to connect. Error: [CLOSED] IMAP connection broken (server response)”.
What I shoud do to avoid it? How must I setup Groundhogg to send mails using WP SMTP?
    Thanks

The IMAP connection is NOT for sending email, but for reading Bouncebacks from an inbox. It has no effect on sending email.

If you want to setup an IMAP connection you need to input the relevant settings from an email inbox.

Again, this has no affect on sending email.

Thanks Adrian for your fast response, I misunderstand the concept of IMAP Connection.

Another question, if I send an email and it bounce, using the SMPT, is it possible to notice about the bounce?

Yes, as long as you setup the relevant bounce back address using the IMAP connection settings. All you need to do is create an email account and input the settings in the IMAP area.

    Thanks Adrian for your support

I’m using Groundhogg on live site when I try to send test email then it shows “Failed to send test”.
