    Hi,

I was using your plugin to make routine backups of my site, until all of a sudden in the first step “Requirement”, the reserved files scan is failing with this message “A reserved file(s) was found in the WordPress root directory. Reserved file names include [dup-installer (directory), installer.php, [HASH]_installer.php, installer-backup.php, [HASH]_installer-backup.php, [HASH]_archive.zip|daf, dup-installer-bootlog__[HASH].txt, dup-wp-config-arc__[HASH].txt]. To archive your data correctly please remove any of these files from your WordPress root directory. Then try creating your package again.”.

I have looked and have not found any of those files in my root directory.

Not sure what to do to fix this issue?

    Thanks,
    Ashley

    Hi @astreck2 ,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Please try to fix this issue by clicking the button “Delete installation files” in Duplicator Pro > Tools, and try another build.

Please let me know if this works.

    Thanks!

Hi, I’m actually using the free version but I did go to ‘Duplicator > Tools’ and deleted the installation files and cleared the cache, no luck.

Appreciate the help, I’ll figure something else out.

No I was not able to fix this problem. I had to just do a manual backup via FTP. Thanks anyways.
