    Hi @jordipullen,

Let’s try to manually re-install NextGen Gallery plugin to see if this will fix the problem.

    Hi @mihaiimagely,

That seemed to make it worse. Some pages dont even have any pictures now…

    Hi @mihaiimagely,
My images are no longer visible on my site.

Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress.
Is this a problem you are working on? If not, should I be looking for an alternative to NetGEN?

    Please Advise.

    Hello @jordipullen,

Could you please share with us what version of WordPress are you currently using?
We haven’t had that particular problem with the latest version of our plugin and WordPress 5.5.1. Our testing sites run that version right now.

That shouldn’t be a problem, but we need to report that back to the developers.

The next step will be to check for existing conflicts.
    – Temporarily deactivate all your plugins except NextGen Gallery.
    – Is the problem solved? Then, it was caused by one of your plugins. Please check one by one and find the one causing the problem.
    – If the problem is not solved with the deactivation of the plugins, try changing to a standard WordPress theme, it could be a conflict with your current theme.

A full website backup is recommended.

Please keep us posted, we are happy to help!

    Hello @jordipullen,

While sharing this link to the developers they noticed that there is some permission issue in your site.

Could you please do the following on your site and let us know if that works for you?

    – For all folders and subfolders, permission should be 755 or 750.
    – All files should have permission 644 or 640 except wp-config.php file.
    – 440 or 400 for wp-config.php file.

    More information here: https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-fix-file-and-folder-permissions-error-in-wordpress/

We also have a similar documentation link with the known uploading errors you can check: https://www.imagely.com/docs/known-uploading-errors/

Please, keep us posted, we are happy to help!

    HI @gabyimagely,

An update from last time; None of our sliders are working in my dads’ website.
We can only see a single image that isn’t centred.
In our pages on the backend, we can see an error, but having no luck fixing it.

I’ve tried contacting our provider, Godaddy, and we’ve tried using a backup, disabling and re-enabling all plugins both with and without safe mode. We’ve also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the slider plugin (metaslider).
    No luck, unfortunately.

I have sent them a support email and hopefully, these issues will be fixed.
    I will keep you updated.

    Hello @jordipullen,

Keep us posted, we currently don’t have any conflicts reported about NextGEN Gallery and MetaSlider.

    Hi @gabyimagely,
The Metaslider team have replied back to me. I sent them a screenshot of my console errors and this is what they said:

You can see in the URL the issue. It’s something you will have to contact GoDaddy about. It looks like an incorrect value in the site_url option in the database. You might be able to go to WP options page here: “/wp-admin/options-general.php” although it might be blocked.

It could be something else too though, like a redirect in the server setting.

Let me know what you find out.

I then reported your issue to the GoDaddy support team using the live chat and thankfully they managed to solve this issue.
The sliders are back to normal and there are no errors in the console.
The plugin pages in the dashboard are all normal as well.

They found out that a .htaccess plugin was blocking some features so it was removed. That seemed to fix the problem.

Thanks for all your help and sorry for all the troubles!
